Community Education offers a robust variety of academics, arts and athletics for students to explore, discover and achieve during out of school time.
Spark creativity, explore a passion, discover new techniques and build academic and social skills … boundless opportunities in which students can learn and grow. Whether they have an affinity for academics, arts and/or athletics, our goal is to expose students to the infinite possibilities. The sky is the limit! Instructors include school staff, community members and organizations. Classes are fee-based and scholarships are available.
Learn to swim, develop your competitive swimming skills or become certified to work at our pools! We offer swimming activities for all ages with safety being our first priority. Our Red Cross certified instructors provide individualized instruction in a positive learning environment. Everyone deserves a chance to learn to love the water.
Pursue your interests, expand your abilities and improve your social skills in an informal, fun and safe environment. The fee-supported classes are offered on evenings, weekends and during the day on non-school days and throughout the summer. From babysitter training to martial arts, dance, arts and crafts, languages, gymnastics and sports, Youth Enrichment has something for everyone!
Nonpublic/homeschools must comply with state requirements in accordance with the Minnesota Compulsory Instruction Law and report to the Community Education office by October 1 of each year or at any time during the year when the educational status of a school-age child changes.
We recognize that parents play an important role in a child's learning journey. That's why we offer speakers, classes and workshops to help you be the best parent you can be. Learn tips and techniques that can guide you to deal with daily parenting issues and problems and find joy in parenting.
