Welcome to River Valley Project Explore
We'd like to extend an invitation for you to explore the variety of activities offered through Project Explore. We are a Community Education program serving adults with disabilities. We are a consortium of five school districts including Burnsville, Farmington, Lakeville, Randolph and Rosemount. For over 32 years, Project Explore has been a leader in providing opportunities and services in Dakota County.
Project Explore has a Facebook page. We post photos, videos, activities, jokes and more. We also have interactive classes from time to time.
If you don't have a Facebook account, there are two ways you can view our page and/or participate in our activities:
1. Go to facebook.com/projectexplore/official/ You will be asked: Create a Facebook account?, and you can choose NOT NOW. You will then be able to see the page.
2. Here on our website homepage, scroll to the bottom of this page and you will see various Facebook posts. You can choose Load More to see additional posts. Click on the post you are interested in seeing, and then at the bottom of that post, choose View on Facebook.
Did you know, based on program offerings and participants, RVPE is one of the largest adults with disabilities programs in Minnesota? Yet, RVPE is the 12th lowest funded program in the state. Here's why.
See how River Valley Project Explore staff and volunteers continue to offer creative ways to deliver educational, self-care, and social opportunities during the pandemic.
You can help by giving to RVPE Foundation. Your gift will provide scholarships, support new programming, assist with transportation, purchase supplies and equipment and support other program needs. Visit RVPE Foundation for more information.
