Open Conversations: Empowering Parents to Talk With Your Kids About Vaping and Cannabis

Join us for an important workshop on talking to your kids about vaping and cannabis use on Tuesday, March 4 from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at Eastview High School.

This FREE program is presented by Dakota County Health.

This workshop for parents and caregivers of 3rd – 12th graders will provide essential information and strategies for addressing the growing concerns around youth vaping and cannabis use, led by three experts in the field. Learn about the current nicotine and cannabis products popular among teens, the associated health risks, and how targeted marketing and social media affect youth behavior.

The workshop will also cover the impact of recent cannabis policy changes in Minnesota and important information about legalization.

By empowering parents and caregivers with knowledge and communication tools, the goal is to help you engage in effective conversations with your teens about the dangers of vaping and cannabis use.
