Hernandez will take over as coordinator of the 196Online program on July 1, replacing Teaching and Learning Coordinator Jenny Huling.
Students cited a commitment to serve their country, along with earning opportunity for college, continuing a family tradition and strengthening their discipline as their reasons for enlisting in the military.
At the ceremony, each graduate was presented with a graduation stole that they will wear with their cap and gown on graduation day, a medicine wheel and an eagle feather.
Hack will finish this school year at Diamond Path and take over at Pinewood starting July 1. She will replace Principal Crisfor Town, who is retiring.
Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2022 are scheduled for May and early June, during which 2,117 students will graduate.
