Morning and evening positions are available in Apple Valley. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to make a difference in the lives of adult learners! Full schedule.

- We strongly encourage volunteers who are people of color, indigenous, immigrants and refugees, LBGTQ+ and people with disabilities
Volunteers help in many ways, including

Congratulations to Nisha Rana on receiving Literacy Minnesota’s Outstanding Volunteer Award
Nisha has accumulated more than 270 hours of service to date in the District 196 Adult Basic Education (ABE) program. “Nisha’s contributions directly impact the positive progress made by our online English Learner (EL) students. She helps students one-on-one and in small groups gain language, computer literacy and online learning skills to help create a robust class of online learning,” states online ABE teacher, Keith Lewis.
